About J. Allen Fiorletta

J. Allen Fiorletta has been an attorney since 1988 and has practiced in Grand Rapids since 2000. Mr. Fiorletta's career path began as an associate attorney in Michigan's largest and most prestigious law firm after graduating at the top of his law school class. Allen started his own Firm in 1991. Allen's clients and cases have made local, state and national headlines. Prior to becoming an attorney Allen served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After becoming an attorney Allen also served as a firefighter in East Grand Rapids. Allen was award Michigan Businessman of the Year in 2005 and Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year in 2007. Wonderful experience from start to end. From the first call Allen was immediately attentive to my goals and had a strategy to achieve them. He didn't over promise and communicated with me throughout the process which was very helpful as MI was not my home state and I was not familiar with their court processes. Allen provided effective counsel and was able to get the positive outcome I was looking for all without the need to travel back to the state for court appearances. Would highly recommend his services.

Allen was referred to me by a very trustworthy transportation attorney out of DC. That's all I needed to know. Allen came through with the best results possible for my situation. I had stopped across 2 lanes waiting for traffic to complete my left turn for almost a 1/2 minute. Young kid (w/a female passenger) didn't know how to drive in light and slippery snow. Came down the long hill and hit my trailer toolbox right behind the landing gear. No injuries, thankfully. Local cop gave me a ticket for failure to yield to oncoming traffic. Allen had it reduced and shouldn't appear on record and no points.

Had a last minute hearing that was scheduled due to a OWI probation violation. Mr. Fiorletta jumped right in with 6 days notice and did an outstanding job representing me. He knew exactly how to deal with the probation agent and judge to get a significantly lesser charge to which I am beyond grateful. His communication, professionalism, knowledge, etc. was top notch. I was in such a pinch for representation and he came to my rescue. He even skipped a family funeral to avoid anymore jail time. I cannot thank him enough for what he was able to do for me. A++++++ attorney. Hire him!

I hired Mr. Fiorletta after my previous lawyer would go days without returning my calls or responding to my emails. My Trial was less than two weeks away when I decided to make the switch, fire my current lawyer, and hire Mr. Fiorletta. Mr. Fiorletta worked with me tirelessly, including through the weekend, to make sure that we were prepared for Trial. He accomplished more for me in two weeks than my previous lawyer had done in almost a year. After a day and a half of Trial, the other side in my case made an offer to resolve the case that was almost to good to be true. Months of stress and anxiety were wiped away in an instant. They had not made an offer to settle the case the entire time that my previous lawyer was representing me! I truly believe that they would not have made the offer had I not hired Mr. Fiorletta. He was amazing.

Mr. Fiorletta did an outstanding job handling my case involving a "Failure to Use Due Care While Passing an Emergency Vehicle." This was a challenging situation, but he skillfully negotiated a reduced charge to "Impeding Traffic," (which doesn't carry any point penalty) saving me from significant fines and points on my record. Even during the busy holiday season, he went above and beyond to resolve the case quickly. He rescheduled his personal schedule for my court date during the holiday season. His professionalism, dedication, and clear communication were exceptional. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a skilled and caring lawyer. Thank you, Mr. Fiorletta!

Allen spent almost 8 months representing me in an extremely difficult, emotional and time-consuming situation. He was available to discuss my case every time that I needed to talk with him. It is clear that the Judge respected him and so did the opposing lawyers. I never felt rushed when talking to him, and he never tried to rush me into making decisions. 1000% satified with the result!
