The lawyers are quick to get you in and out. The process is not explained by the lawyer and most of the meeting is with a Paralegal. The bankruptcy laws are not well explained. They are slow to respond to voice messages and email.
My experience with Clark & Washington has been disappointing so far. I filed about four months ago, and the communication from the staff has been extremely lacking. Unfortunately, the supervisor of customer service has been the most difficult person to speak with. While the rest of the team is at least pleasant, their communication is still not effective. If you’re considering using their services, you may want to save your money and either file on your own or look into a different firm. As someone going through this process for the first time, I expected more support and reassurance. Being met with a dismissive attitude made it difficult to feel confident in my case, trust the team, or feel that my investment was worthwhile. Clark & Washington, please do better—customer service matters.
Don't provide needed information that the average lay person would know.Seem to forget that not everyone that files bankruptcy is a deadbeat.That to some people it is embarrassing & last resort.Sometimes it is not the client's fault that they are in this position.I filed a Chapter 13 & was told by 1 of the attorneys when my salary had been cut that since it was my parents fault I was in financial trouble have them sell their house move in with me & pay their way.Also stop tithing to save money.
Very impersonal. Received only letters from companies not my lawyer. Never got the same person on the phone at the law firm. Foreclosure notices still come to my house and had to handle this myself - even though this was part of the bankruptcy. Very poor service.
