Can I reduce the charges if I took the breatalyzer test even if the tester was calibrated last year?

That would probably be enough to get the charges dismissed or at least reduced to a civil infraction. Speak with an experienced DUI attorney in your area.

How do I find out if I have a DUI misdemeanor?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)

How can you not remember what crime who were found guilty of? Either way, both OWI and reckless driving are misdemeanors. You can request your case file information from your attorney or check the court file at the court where your case was at for more specific information. You can also obtain your Michigan criminal history through the state police for a nominal fee. Your driving record through the Secretary of State may contain it as well.

How long will a DUI stay on my record?

It will be on your record forever, as generally drinking and driving violations cannot be expunged or set aside. Therefore you will always have to reveal and explain the transaction on your employment applications. You are not alone!
