Your attorney is giving you great advice. It takes a while for you to get in front of the judge if you report near the weekend. If your attorney is telling you this, he likely knows how much time it takes for you too get in front of that Judge. You should listen to your attorney. Good luck.

1) Do not LIE to cover for another person. 2) If you are on probation, you are not supposed to have alcohol or drugs so even if you do not get charged with an offense, your probation can be revoked.

The results of the portable breath test are not admissible in court so they have no evidence with that. I'm really surprised that you were not arrested, but it is unlikely you will be arrested now since they let you go.
