How can they permanently take my commercial driving away from me if I haven’t been driving commercially for more than 10 years?

DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Office of Mark Rosenfeld
Federal law states that if you're convicted of two or more driving under the influence cases, that your commercial class A or B endorsement is revoked for your lifetime. It does not matter if these DUI convictions were in your personal car or in your rig. Anyone who is a commercial driver must know that if they get caught driving under the influence on a first-time offense it's a one year license suspension and on a second time DUI it is a lifetime ban. Please share this information with all commercial drivers. If any commercial drivers charged with driving under the influence case they should go to a jury trial and fight to save their license.

How much are DUI fines?

Richard B. Jacobson
Answered by attorney Richard B. Jacobson (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Richard B. Jacobson Associates, LLC
There are still some questions to be answered. Assuming this was in Wisconsin, how flexible is the prosecutor in reaching plea bargains? Do you make a good appearance when you negotiate with the prosecutor? In many Wisconsin counties, on the facts you mention, the total of forfeitures (not 'fines ', which is the name for a monetary penalty for a criminal offence, which first offence operating while intoxicated is not) and surcharges is likely to be in the neigborhood of $1,400. But it could be somewhat more or less.

Would the break in that happened in the neighborhood constitute a probable cause to pull me over?

More facts are needed to answer your question. You might have grouches to challenge your initial detention.
