Will the judge quash a warrant in Colorado?

Answered by attorney Steven Joseph Pisani (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at The Law Offices of Steven J. Pisani, LLC
A criminal defense attorney can assist you with requesting that the warrant be quashed. This will allow you to pay your court costs, complete any other requirements you have and avoid jail time.

I just received a motion to revoke my deferred sentence and give me jail time in my DWAI case. Should I be worried?

David B. Harrison
Answered by attorney David B. Harrison (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Miller & Harrison, LLC
If you have completed the alcohol program and the only issue for trying to revoke your deferred sentence is that you did not complete the alcohol program - provide proof to the Court that you completed the program and that should take care of it with no further action needed.  If you can, take the proof to the court clerk prior to the hearing and have the clerk 'efile' it into the file and ask that the hearing be vacated. It might be you can avoid having the hearing at all.

For an FTA charge what are the chances of me going to jail and for how long?

Answered by attorney Philip Daniel Hache
DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Offices of Phil Hache
That can really vary depending on the court you are in. The sooner you handle this matter the better. You may want to consider hiring a private attorney to handle this case as it sounds like you are having some issues with the public defenders office. Based on what you wrote, this is a case you should fight, not just plea to a DUI.
