You need to hire an attorney in the state where the DUI occurred. He or she can assist you through the process. The reality is, at some point you will have to go to court to get the matter resolved.

Even though Michigan has not adopted the Compact, administratively the Secretary of State of Michigan, when they learn of the out of state conviction, may take action on a Michigan license holder for the out of state conviction.
