There is no expungement in California. It will be a prior for 10 years and after that it will stay on your record forever.

You have an absolute right to relieve your attorney at any point. If you're not confident, you may want to have a serious discussion with them and evaluate from there. There's no way for us to guess, just based on your blood alcohol level, as to whether or not your case is one that will get a wet or a dry offer.
