Is it possible to transfer a DUI case to Georgia from Florida if I'm a Georgia resident?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
You enter a guilty plea in FL, IF you are guilty, and you ask to transfer the probation to GA. I assume you are not retaining an attorney, which means you will be writing in six months to find out how to get the DUI conviction off of your records, because it is impeding with your employment opportunities.

How do I see my blood test result before I go to court for my DUI case?

Morris H. "Mo" Wiltshire
Answered by attorney Morris H. "Mo" Wiltshire (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Wiltshire Defense
The procedure varies by jurisdiction and a lot depends upon which court your case is pending before. You can certainly receive the results of the blood test when they are available. Your best choice for both obtaining and interpreting your blood test result is going to be seeking help from a skilled defense lawyer in your area. Good luck.

Is it possible to test negative on a breathalyzer and then still have alcohol in your blood?

Answered by attorney Nathaniel D Shafer
DUI/DWI lawyer at Natty Shafer Law
If the breathalyzer was broken, it's possible, but a properly working breathalyzer should not read 0.000 if there is a measurable amount of alcohol in the person's blood.
