Spousal Support will be figured off current income and standard of living during marriage as well as all of the factors found in Family Code Section 4320 If in the future you retire and she receives some of your retirement as income and you are then receiving less in income you would then move the court to modify the support amount at that time

Can I file for an out-of-state divorce?

Answered by attorney Robert Jason De Groot (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
If every issue in the divorce can be agreed to, you can probably get an uncontested divorce in FL rather inexpensively. The filing fee alone is $409. In order to find out if you can get a divorce in TX, you would have to ask lawyers there. In FL one of the parties has to have been a resident for over six months, and the marriage has to be irretrievably broken. Where does he live in FL?
