The answer to your question is basically no. You must have an attorney. You can try to contact legal aid in your community. You have not been a resident of Florida for the last six months. You should probably file something in the new state.

File for divorce now. In Idaho, his debt is community debt and you could be responsible for it. Hire an attorney and the attorney will have him located and served. You can file where you live.

Am I legally responsible for my husband's car repayments if we are separated?

Answered by attorney Anne Barbara Howard (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Anne B. Howard, A Professional Law Corporation
If you are on the car loan and he defaults, the lender could come after you for the repayments. You need to get a court order or agreement that becomes a court order that he is responsible for the debt and if he doesn't pay, he will hold you harmless and if he doesn't pay you can go after him for attorney fees to collect what's taken.
