How do I find out if my wife has divorced me?

Answered by attorney Robert Andrew Michael Burns (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Law Office of Robert Burns
Ordinarily with a disappeared spouse you'd want to hire a private investigator to search Court records wherever you think she'd likely be. But, you are paying child support and found her on a social media site. If you are paying child support pursuant to a Court order, your answer is probably in that Court's file for your support case; otherwise, there should be a paper trail to her and a social-media trail of which a private investigator can make use. Also, you can obtain a child-locator order from a Court to have the D.A. look for your child through means superior to those lawfully used by private investigators. Best wishes!

Can my son-in-law lock my daughter out from their house before they get a divorce?

Answered by attorney Michael D. Fluke
Divorce lawyer at Michael D. Fluke, P.A.
No he does not have the right to lock her out as this is her legal residence. The larger question is what is your daughter planning on doing about it? She may be able to get herself back into the house, but then what? I suggest your daughter consult an experienced Family Law attorney to discuss her case in greater detail and learn all of her rights and options. Good luck.
