If you cannot afford an attorney but need to complete your case, fire the attorney and get help from the self-help center to finish the divorce. Pay the attorney what you can separate from the case. They aren't required to work when owed money, but you don't have to have an attorney to finish your case.and destroy the original transmission.

What can I do to get a divorce?

Answered by attorney Sabina Tomshinsky
Divorce lawyer at Home Town Law, P.A.
You should file a petition for dissolution of marriage and have your husband served. You may only remarry after the entry of the final judgment of dissolution of marriage. Once you remarry, your new husband may initiate proceedings to adopt your daughter, if that is something you want accomplished down the road. In any case, you should consult with a divorce attorney in your area on moving forward with your a dissolution of marriage action.
