Can I be released from my financial obligations if my husband committed bigamy? How?

Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
Bigamy is criminal, but has little to do with civil obligations. Be careful, you could have additional, the same or lower taxes if you refile a corrected return. Seek counsel to make sure you are not hurting yourself.

I'm American, she is not she still married in another country, is our marriage legal?

Divorce lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
Assuming that she was married at the time you married her, your marriage would be void. In other words, it would not be legal.

What is the cost for a uncontested divorce?

Answered by attorney Leonard T Schwartz (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Law Offices of Slotnick & Schwartz
It depends. Each firm sets their own fees. I would say between $1200 and $1500 to be sure it is done right as long as there are only minimal property and support issues to be included even though uncontested.
