What does the no cohabitation with a female clause in our divorce mean?

J Matthew Catchick
Answered by attorney J Matthew Catchick (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Catchick Law, P.C.
Generally speaking, a "no-cohabit" clause applies only to unrelated members of the opposite sex - if you live with your mom, that should be fine. If, in the future, you get in a serious, long-term relationship with someone, you may want to consider filing a post-judgment Motion with the Court to request that the "no-cohabit" provision be removed.

How can I get a satellite TV company to cancel my account when it is in my ex husband's name and he refuses to cancel it?

Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
Give him the box and the bill if he does not want it cancelled. Tell the company where he can be found so they can collect. If it is his account and you are not on it at all then it is his bill.
