How long does it take for the Dissolution once the Default Judgement is filed - assuming all paperwork was done & correct?

Divorce lawyer at Anne B. Howard, A Professional Law Corporation
Court will send the other side a notice and set a hearing. You have to file the proper paperwork to set the hearing. At the hearing you need to have your judgment package ready to be filed. The court should not default someone without a hearing or a signed agreement.

In Washington state courts, such "status conferences" are court orders requiring your attendance. Contact the court asap and request that another date/time be scheduled. In the event it cannot be rescheduled, you must attend.

Consent Divorce and Defendant's absence on the testimony

Answered by attorney Gilbert Borman
Divorce lawyer at Borman-Lahti PLLC
I am pretty sure he has to show up.   They court will want to ask both of you in court if the proposed judgment is what you both want. No way around it.
