What can I do if my ex is two months behind in paying alimony?

Answered by attorney David Ari Goldberg
Divorce lawyer at The Goldberg Legal Group
You are likely going to have to file another contempt against your ex and request that he pay your attorney fees. If you are out of state, you will probably need to hire a local attorney to handle the case.

How do I obtain a court order from the judge in a dissolution of marriage?

Answered by attorney Gerard A. Fierro (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Gerard A. Fierro & Associates
First, you have discovery rights. You would have to first serve a proper Demand to Inspect and Copy documents and give your spouse the statutory amount of time to respond and produce documents. Only if your spouse then does not comply are you able to request a court order that will compel the production of documents.
