Generally, you have to make a diligent search and inquiry to try to find him, so that he can be served with the divorce papers. There are alternatives for obtaining service of process on him, but it can be complicated. Consult with an attorney to discuss the specifics of your situation, and your options.

If your income has increased by 20% or if it has been at least 3 years since the last court order was entered, you ex can take you back to court for a child support review and increase. If your income has increased, you owe more child support. Any other factors, such as having additional children to support, come in as deviations to the base child support calculation (See NRS 125B.080(9)).

In joint legal custody agreements, between parents living in different states, who makes final decisions regarding the child?

Answered by attorney Clayton Lockhart (Unclaimed Profile)

If that issue wasn't already stated in the divorce decree, then it is an issue that should be brought back up before the court assuming the two of you cannot reach an agreement on your own and present it to the court. I'm surprised that order was presented to the judge without that issue already being resolved.
