Can I sue for payment on a loan I Cosigned for?

Answered by attorney Michael D. Fluke
Divorce lawyer at Michael D. Fluke, P.A.
You can list it as a marital debt and make your wife responsible for in the divorce proceeding (although taking the whole debt and making sure it is paid may be preferable), and you can also sue the daughter for contribution in civil court (which may be a waste of time if the daughter has nothing). I suggest you consult a local Family Law attorney to discuss your case in greater detail and learn all of your rights and options. Good luck.

How do I enforce alimony once ex husband moved?

Answered by attorney Robert Jason De Groot (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
Alimony is subject to the contempt powers of the court. You will want to have a conference with an attorney in NH. What you can do is get a certified copy of the order and have it filed properly in the NH court. That state can probably through its statutory process give full faith an credit to the FL order.

Can my ex wife submit a counter offer to our realtor to a possible buyer without my consent?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney James Timothy Weiner (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at James T. Weiner, P.C.
There are lots of issues here.. You say its your house.. is her name on the house? If so she is arguably the co-owner if not.. well.. Check what your divorce judgment says.. It will not matter anyway if the counter offer is rejected (unless you wanted to accept the original offer because a counter offer rejects the original offer).
