The firm was attentive to my needs. Although it was simple Estate Planning they made me feel like a billionaire.

Hired Law Firm

The understanding of my case and the concern showed in our initial meetings was very good. The follow-through was deplorable. I was not informed of a settlement facilitation that was scheduled except through a chance email with my spouse. I never received a discussion of a strategy for presenting my case. My husband's attorney presented several proposed settlements. I was left to "take it or leave it" without professional consultation, discussion, or informed advice from Mr. Carpenter.

Hired Attorney Joshua Carpenter

Problems: terribly unresponsive, billing very high for so little service performed, he forgot to file paperwork with courts so this cost two months time and that somehow became even higher paperwork cost with Carpenter. Carpenter can't keep secretary or other assistants for very long - everyone keeps quitting. He assigned a new lawyer to our case - then that lawyer left the firm with no warning. Implosion! He also presented our case in court pretty poorly - seemed unfamiliar w/ our case.

Hired Attorney Joshua Carpenter

Please read reviews located at other sites that rate attorneys and their firms. This attorney is unethical, unprofessional, lacks experience and knowledge. He charges for work that was never done and has no intention of representing you, therefore, will have another attorney represent your case if you allow him to. If he has failed to properly represent you, file a complaint with the Disciplinary Board and State Bar. Do not allow him or his staff to go unpunished for their lack of integrity.

Hired Attorney Joshua Carpenter

I received terrible service and zero representation from Mr. Carpenter and his associates. My phone calls were never returned, no work was done on my file, yet my retainer was completely drained. It was over a year and my divorce and custody case still are not finalized. I had to take the case to another lawyer to clean up the mess.

Hired Attorney Joshua Carpenter

This was the worst experience I have ever been through. I was represented by different lawyers without my knowledge, meeting them at my hearings requiring me to sit there for 15-20 min explaining my case over and over again. They have accomplished nothing for over $6000. Save yourself money and stress, Do not Hire Them!!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!! HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN! I AM ORGANIZING A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL & THE NM DISCIPLINARY BOARD! FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT WERE ALSO VICTIMS OF JOSH, PLEASE CONTACT THESE ORGANIZATIONS ABOUT CARPENTER LAW TO ENSURE THAT THEY DO NOT CONTINUE TO DO THIS TO PEOPLE!!!

Hired Attorney Joshua Carpenter

I had a very very bad experience with Carpenter Law Firm/Joshua Carpenter. I was very displease with their service. He is an unprofessional and unethical attorney and should be reported to the New Mexico Bar for misconduct. I would not recommend him to anyone. He charges a lot of money to do nothing. He did nothing for my case and I am just happy that I fired him.
