Is there no search warrant needed in government housing?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
The police still need a search warrant in order to go into someone's house, irrespective of whether it is government housing or not. If the person is no probation or parole and signed a 4th amendment waiver, the warrant is unnecessary. If the person in government housing has been warned, and agreed to allow police to search, then the answer to your question changes.

Is it possible to receive less probation time if my charges were dropped?

The question does NOT make sense. Is this something that is going to happen, or something that has happened? IF you did not have sex with anyone why would you ever plead guilty? Were you advised by your attorney? How can anyone on the internet advise you when he/she has absolutely no facts, except that you did not have sex with anyone? Good luck.
