Is it possible to shorten my suspension after a DUI?

Michael S Edwards
Answered by attorney Michael S Edwards (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Michael S. Edwards Attorney at Law, PLLC
Yes, in some cases that is possible. If this is your first offense, and you only lose your license for 120 days, if you get your charge reduced to driving while impaired, or any other charge that is considered to be less serious that DUI, your driver license suspension is reduced to 60 days. A good attorney can help you with this. Good luck!

How can I have a charge on my record when I was never arrested or given a court date or anything?

You should consult with a local attorney to find out what can be done. Perhaps the county record should be sealed and later expunged.

What happens with a Motion to set aside Suspended Sentence charge on court date?

You need to ask your PD, he is the only one that knows the case, not us. Call to make an appointment before the hearing. The judge will decide what happens.
