What will happen if I did not pay my fines or go to my court date?

If you have a court date and do not appear the judge will usually issue a warrant for failure to appear. They usually won't come looking for your but if you get pulled over for a traffic violation the officer will run your driver's license and discover the warrant. The best thing to do is to go to the court and ask to appear at the next available time, then explain to the judge what happened. They appreciate honesty and appearing on your own.

Is it possible for me to speak with someone about altering my plea bargain if I have a lawyer?

If you have lost faith in your lawyer and don't believe they have your best interests at heart, then you absolutely have the right to seek a new one.  Make absolutely sure you have a lawyer you can trust, especially if pursuing an education is a dream of yours.  Do whatever you can to protect your record, don't just take the easy way out with a fine.  Many lawyers offer free consultations.  Call a few lawyers, meet with them and explain the situation, and then if you think it's the right move, hire a new one.  Hope I helped, good luck!

My husband is appealing conspiracy case and was just sentenced to 15 years in federal prison, does he have any chance for less jail time?

Highly unlikely he can win on appeal. However, he can continue to cooperate and perhaps get a reduction. He needs to discuss this with his lawyer.
