You need an appellate specialist. Best to google local Amarillo criminal attorneys and go meet with them to see if you have a case.

The guy that molested my child is being charged with 2 felonies, how much jail time is he looking at?

A sentence in Washington state is based on the seriousness level of the charged offense and the the offender's previous record. There are three levels of child molest and the term is often used to describe other crimes. The way your question is asked it could be 6 months to life.

Can a misdeamor be changed to a felony?

Answered by attorney Joseph Briscoe Dane (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Office of Joe Dane
Your question is too vague to answer accurately. There are some "wobblers" that can be felonies or misdemeanors. Can the prosecutor charge the felony, even if you were only arrested for a misdemeanor? Yes. Can it change after you're charged? Yes, but your lawyer should be fighting against any upgrade.
