How could I gain my rights to hunt after a felony conviction?

You will NOT be getting your rights to hunt restored, because you forfeited them when you received your felony conviction, UNLESS you receive a pardon or an expungement.

Can I just sell the car after being pulled over without registration and insurance?

Anthony O. Van Johnson
Answered by attorney Anthony O. Van Johnson (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Anthony Overton Van Johnson Associates, P.C.
You were stopped and cited for driving with no proof of insurance and either no registration or expired registration. Accordingly, the offense has been completed. Whether you sell your car or retain it, the question in court is going to be whether you had valid insurance and valid registration at the time you were stopped. Of course, if you produce proof that you had insurance and a valid registration when you go to court, the charges should be dismissed. In some courts, if you provide proof that you now have valid insurance and valid registration, they may reduce or dismiss your charge because you are now in compliance. Without knowing where (what court) your case is being heard, it would be difficult to advise you on what to expect at your particular court. Even if you sold the vehicle, there is a possibility that they will simply impose the punishment based on the facts at the time of your traffic stop.

What are the chances of two counts of burglary felonies being reduced to misdemeanor?

Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. I suggest that you contact an experienced criminal defense attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your son's case. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze his case and advise you of his options.
