How should I answer a job application question when I was charged with stealing but it was amended?

Criminal Law lawyer at Craig W. Elhart, PC
Honesty is generally the best policy. If the arrest will show on your background check, then tell what happened. It will look worse if you say no and they find it on a background check. Also, with some companies, lying on the application is grounds for discharge.

What is the standard sentencing missing a court date?

Answered by attorney Lucio Antonio Montes (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Montes Law Firm
It is not missing court that you have to worry about, it is the theft charge that you have against you that should cause you the most concern. You should consult a local criminal defense attorney, most offer free consultations.
