Is he possibly going to lose his license for imprudent driving and being in violation of a graduated license?

Answered by attorney Stephen Lewis Freeborn (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Freeborn Law Offices P.S.
Your son could very well loose his license. From what you are saying, it sounds to me like he does not yet appreciate the privilege of driving (no it is not a right), as he on at least two occasions has ignored the laws ... 2 occasions where he has been caught. He is also only 16. To have 2 violations within the first 6 months of driving, maybe he needs to be without a license for a while and learn about the responsibilities and the laws that come with getting a license. Whether he looses his license or not is ultimately up to the judge, but based upon the facts as you have presented, I would say there is a fairly good chance he will loose it.

I sent phone sex pictures answering an online ad that turned out to be underage girl, what should I do?

Answered by attorney Steven Jed Alpers (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Steven J. Alpers, A Professional Corporation
It would definitely be illegal to send to a female under the age of 18. It is a bad idea to send them to others since you cannot know someone's age you have only met over the internet. Additionally, you should consider that the police or FBI might run an investigation and try to intercept pictures so do not do it any more.

If I am a 23 years old foreigner and I got caught shoplifting, what will happen if I missed my court date because I need to go back to my country?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Eric E Rothstein (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Rothstein Law PLLC
RELAX. You can hire a criminal defense lawyer to deal with the case for you. I do this all the time for clients who had left the country by the time their court date came. There is a way to get the case dismissed. If you do nothing the Judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest and you will likely be arrested if you try to re-enter the US.
