Is it legal for an attorney to offer a plea bargain to the accused without them seeing the motion of discovery?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
It is legal. First of all, you don't even know what you are asking for. The motion for discovery is a motion that the attorney files with the court. You can go and request the court file and examine the motion for discovery at anytime. You need the actual discovery (police report, photos, 911 calls, etc.) Because you are such an idiot, the attorney chooses to spend as little time with you as possible. The attorney does not need to show you anything before discussing the plea offer with you, PERIOD. Now you can go and retain your own attorney.

How do I get my retainer back after my attorney died?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
You are not getting any retainer back. You paid attorney, and then needed to have an appointed attorney, because you ran out of money. The attorney will create some work that he did to earn that money and you are done.

What can I do if I miss court on a driving while revoked charge?

Answered by attorney Robert Jason De Groot (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
You can turn yourself in so that the state does not have to waste time in sending out the cops to pick you up on the warrant that was issued because you failed to appear in court when you were supposed to.
