Can I get several misdemeanors expunged from my record?

Thomas J Tomko
Answered by attorney Thomas J Tomko (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Thomas J. Tomko, Attorney at Law
n Michigan, the answer is no. An OWI is a traffic misdemeanor. It cannot be expunged. The rule is one conviction and 5 years going by before expungement is possible. In your case, the several convictions prevent you from expungement eligibility. I hope that this was helpful.

Can I get several misdemeanors expunged from my record?

The speeding tickets, if they were civil infractions are not part of your criminal record. They are part of your driving record and can't be expunged. The contempt of court may also not be a part of your criminal record. To be sure, you should obtain a copy of your record. If there is only one conviction and it has been more than 5 years, you could file a motion with the court asking the court to expunge the matter. It is up to the discretion of the court whether an expungement would be allowed.

How much is estimated cost of completing a writ of habeas corpus

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
There are several reasons for an 11.07 writ. The size of the town is not important, the work is the same. Rates vary but generally the fee is base on an estimate of the time that will be necessary. Make an appointment with an attorney to go over the details and estimated costs of the transcripts that will be necessary. If a trial was involved that record may be a large cost. There is not a single price for the work necessary for an 11.07
