I was on probation for forgery for 3 years in potter county. I left potter county and have been gone 10 years. I am trying to put this behind me.

My suggestion is to hire an attorney to talk to the D.A. and probation. He can see if you can make a bond, do the things that were not completed for the probation and have it dismissed.

When the police injure a suspect and they go to the hospital, who pays the bill?

Cynthia Russell Henley

Interesting question and I will speculated. My guess is that most of the people who might be in this position are indigent, thus they have no money to pay the bill so the hospital eats it. Otherwise, in the far majority of cases, the suspect is injured - according to the police - because of the suspect's conduct thus he is responsible for his own injuries and his own bills.

Can police question a fourteen year old without a parent?

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn

The general answer is no, it is not proper. There are exceptions having to do with emergencies but the specific facts are necessary.
