What happens if I haven’t seen my probation officer in 9 days after I was suppose to?

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela
Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
One missed Probation Officer appointment should not land you in jail. If only 9 days, call and reschedule. If you have a good reason, great. If not, just tell Probation Officer sorry. I suspect you are frustrated and want to be off probation. You can get penalties for the full term of probation, so finish it.

Am I eligible to get my record expunged?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
Who told you to pay the fine before the court date? What happened to the case? Was it dismissed? Yes, then you can get your arrest record expunged. Did you plead no contest and get a suspended sentence? Yes, then you have a conviction and you cannot get it expunged. I suspect that you had no attorney representing you, which is why you are unclear as to what occurred with the case. Simple question: DO you have a conviction for shoplifting? Yes, then no expungement.

Is there a child abuse and neglect that happened here?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
There was neglect, because the mother never took the child to a therapist to find out why she was sexually deviant, or who might have abused her.
