Attorney Christine M. Cruse, a New York native, graduated from Rutgers University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She attended Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law, graduating in 1998.
After graduating from law school, Christine worked as a recruiter for the law school before joining the Houston County District Attorney's Office. While there, she handled all felony property crimes and co-chaired several major felony cases during her first year. She then left to serve as in-house counsel for Georgia Secretary of State Cathy Cox, Licensing Department where she practiced administrative law and assisted various boards in the creation of new rules and regulations.
Christine returned to the Houston County D.A.'s office a year later to specialize in the prosecution of all felony physical and sexual abuse crimes committed against children. She tried a myriad of cases from murders to serious aggravated child molestations and was successful in obtaining high sentences for violent sex offenders following their convictions. She also served as the head of Houston County's Child Fatality Committee and the Child Abuse Multi-disciplinary team for nearly four years.
Proudly, on Oct. 3, 2011, Christine M. Cruse launched The Law Office of Christine M. Cruse, P.C., where she specializes in family law, military family law issues and criminal defense. Christine had more than eight years of experience in private practice, first with the Gomez Law Group and then with the Rockefeller Law Center (since the firm's inception in 2005), before launching her own practice. In addition, she specializes in personal injury matters and currently has the honor and privilege of representing (as co-counsel) one of the victims of the awful Perry Hospital Mammogram Scandal, which is currently pending. Furthermore, Christine is a State-Certified Family Law and General Civil Mediator and is available to mediate your case.

Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I cannot recommend Christine Cruse highly enough. She was instrumental in guiding me through every stage of my divorce process. What began as an uncontested matter quickly became contested due to a high-conflict spouse who attempted to intimidate me through courtroom behavior, legal filings, and even social media. Throughout it all, Ms. Cruse remained calm, strategic, and completely unshaken. Her professionalism and preparation gave me confidence during one of the most stressful seasons of my life. She advocated firmly on my behalf while keeping the focus on facts, fairness, and the law. Because of her diligence and expertise, we ultimately secured everything outlined in the original uncontested agreement — and were even awarded attorney’s fees due to unnecessary legal actions. If you are looking for an attorney who is knowledgeable, composed under pressure, and truly committed to protecting her clients, Christine Cruse is an outstanding choice.
I have never met an attorney more passionate and capable of providing the best legal services for families in their time of need. She handled my case with a delicacy and urgency that can only come from years of experience in helping people sort through what can be terribly difficult times in their lives. I will recommend Christine Cruse time and time again to anyone in need of excellent legal services. The time spent with her office was exactly what every client hopes for: impeccable, professional, and honest!
Mrs. Cruse was beyond awesome. She gave us the options we could choose from then ran with it. Her knowledge of the system and what we could do took the confusion out of the equation. Her and her staff were very cooperative and I would not hesitate recommending her to anyone, in fact I have to many people. Definitely the best choice for family law without a doubt.
I am in the military and my ex wife was going after half of my military retirement. The difference in Mrs Cruse and her lawyer was clear from the start. I walked away with 100% of my retirement. I would recommend her to any military member. She is very knowledgeable.
Ms. Cruse is a Father's best allied. She is a fighter with compassion. Her law office is very professional and helpful. I hired another lawyer who I thought could do the job but lose my case in the pre-hearing from a lack of effort. CMC stepped up when I thought I was finished and corrected the mess by another lawyer Great job with communication, documentation, filing, court presence and courage to fight for me. I strongly recommend her.
Just hire her.

We were so pleased to have Christine M. Cruse represent us in the adoption process of our new baby. Christine walked us through every step of the way; she explained the entire process accurately. Her price quote never changed. She was very patient with us during this process; even when we repeatedly asked questions. The entire staff was exceptional. We will continue to use Christine M. Cruse in the future.
I initially gave a modest score on this report but if the rating is comparing to other law firms I would definitely have to rate the Cruse law firm (5) for excellent because of the way my case was handled, the dedication, concern and effort to assure my satisfaction. Client's needs came before the dollar. I would definitely recommend this law firm (I already have). Second to none. Excellent law firm.
