Mr. Thomas is extremely attentive with me and my case. He asks questions and follows up to ensure he has the best understanding of my issues. He does well with explaining the plaof actions and follows through with them in an appropriate manner.

I was looking for assistance with my VA disability benefits and Berry Law was recommended to me by a co-worker. From the beginning, the team was extremely communicative, explained the reasoning for the documentation they required before I signed, and answered all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. Matthew Bartling and Rosario Torres were great to work with and provided details as the case progressed, whether we heard from the VA or not. Ultimately my case was won and I cannot thank them enough for the positive impact the outcome has had on my life.
Excellent experience working with Mr. Taylor Wikum at Berry Law. This day in age, it has become such a rarity to receive astute service, thoroughness, dependability, and attention to detail. Mr. Wikum exemplified all of the above by taking the time to go over the details of my VA claim and ultimately delivered results. Overall, the Berry Law team was exceptional, easy to work with, sharp, and well polished. Top performance from Mr. Taylor Wikum and team at Berry Law, I would highly recommend.
I couldn’t have continued this journey without them. The VBA filing is so confusing and mind-boggling. Berry Law Firm has been amazing to work with. It’s been a very long process and they’ve kept at it where I would have quit out of frustration years ago. I couldn’t recommend them more!!

I am very pleased with the help Sean Shepherd out of the Omaha office has done for me. I was very frustrated with the process and being denied in the past and all the paperwork and red tape involved. The Berry Law Firm was there when I needed them. Being veteran owned meant more to me, as they would understand what I was going through. I highly recommend all veterans to seek them out.
Berry Law started on my case almost 10 years ago and never left my side, never left me wondering, never stopped fighting for me. Even when I mentally gave up, Berry Law did not and won my case in the amount well over $135,000 and no that's not a misprint I wrote $135,000. I started out at 10% disability, Berry Law got it to 30%, then really dug in, they kept fighting and got me to 70%. I thought that was a good rating, Berry Law didn't and got me to 100% plus 5 years back payment owed. I can't begin to thank David Hoeser my attorney at Berry Law who would not stop until satisfaction was reached. I have to give a big thank you to all the attorney's that were on this case prior to Mr. Hoeser and their exceptionally professional staff who stayed in the fight. I can go on and on about how wonderful this law firm is, but this rating only gives me a 1000 characters to write. Five Stars does not provide justice to Berry Law...they're a Million Stars. Thank You Team, Your the best!!!
There's not enough characters that can explain how I laud this firm and their personnel. My lawyer for my VA Disability was Stephanie Costello and she never let up ensuring the VA got their own laws correct and rated me properly. From a period of only 2.5 years (and that's REALLY good for all of the rating bumps that were issued) I received a bump to 70%, then to 90% and recently achieved 100% VA disability. I was able to do this with the help of Stephanie and her Berry Law team. I would have been lost with out them as I had previously used the DAV and my local VSO. They just put the docs together and submitted, but they don't champion or fight for you like Berry Law does! Their fees, which come off of any backpay, were MORE than reasonable and better than the other VA Attorney Firms. My heart is full of gratefulness for Berry Law and Stephanie for their tenacity and unwavering support and fight. Don't look anywhere else!!!! Choose Berry Law to fight for you and get your the r
I want to extend a great thanks to Seth, his amazing team, and the Berry Law Firm for their dedication and expertise in handling my Board of Veterans Appeal Their professionalism and diligence went above and beyond my expectations, resulting in a swift decision granted in my favor. I truly appreciate their commitment to veterans and their unwavering support throughout the process. Highly recommend their services to anyone navigating the complexities of VA appeals! Semper Fi, Frederick Clark
If you’re navigating the VA claims process, pay attention—Berry Law is the team you want in your corner. Like many veterans, I initially tried to handle it on my own. I filled out the forms, followed the rules, and ultimately experienced the usual runaround—delays, denials, and dead ends. At one point, I began to question whether it was worth fighting anymore. That’s when I was told by a fellow veteran to call Berry Law, they will do you solid. This team is comprised of absolute professionals who are thoroughly familiar with the VA system. They’re not afraid to push back when something isn’t right. I worked with Sean Shepard, and he is incredibly dedicated. He’s sharp, direct, and most importantly, he truly cares. Sean and the team treated me with respect, kept me updated, and ensured I always understood what was happening. I never felt like just another case file to them; I felt like a priority. I know one concern some veterans have is that they take a percentage of your back pay i
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
