The five-star rating is well-deserved as Joel Spivack is sharp, kind and professional. Most importantly, he knows bankruptcy law, which I can speak from experience that not all bankruptcy lawyers do. He took his time to make sure everything was in order for my case and was not the least bit pretentious. He truly wants to help those who are willing to help themselves but may hit a rough patch. My family suggested that I consider BANKRUPTCY as the solution to getting out of debt when I was trying to sell my house and move to a new home without furniture or other accumulated stuff. They found Joel and helped me get to see him in a timely fashion. He was excellent in calming me down over BANKRUPTCY and the patient in helping me gather the files necessary for him to file for BANKRUPTCY. After a review of the files, he advised me the best option was Chapter 7 and that was filed. He had no control over TRUSTEE change in the middle which delayed listing the house for sale but now we have a CONTRACT of SALE, have vacated the home / property and have the DISCHARGE waiting for CLOSING.

I’ve used Mr. Spivack on multiple occasions. Chapter 7 and a Chapter 13. He is all that and more!! He will break it down to you and keep it real with yo, and actually care to help you if he can. If he can’t help you , he will let you know! I gave up my home in a chapter 7 then 2 years later decided to keep it after getting a great job and my whole life situation changing . I went with a Chapter 13 and was approved because of Mr. Spivack. This is a great man and he knows his stuff , I will always support and send anyone to him. Thankyou Joel! 5 Stars!!!!
