Hired Law Firm

I chose Sterling because of its flat fee structure and after a good consultation with the lawyer. They tout communication without hourly rates. This does not happen. Repeated pleas for calls were unmet, my interrogatory was sent late, my husband's was returned late and incomplete and she didn't notice. Emailed questions went unanswered. I was NOT told I could get maintenance. I was assured I could get thru pretrial/mediation during the initial fee time. Didn't happen. After 5 months I contacted a higher-up. Then another. I quit and went elsewhere. They couldn't even manage to get my entire file to my new lawyer! It was the best decision to go. I got more with my new attorney in one month than 5 months with Sterling and for 1/5 the cost. I finally have the car, I've filed for maintenance. I've talked to my new lawyer more in a month than 5 months with Sterling. Sterling's CEO's words in an email to me were, "I am not interested in talking to hear you vent and complain".

Hired Law Firm

They failed to act for nearly a month. They had to be fired. Then they refused allow pickup of the file...they said they would mail it. It will probably take another month.
