Hired Law Firm
I am so glad I chose Sterling. They listened to my concerns and alleviated my stress. They have been consistently friendly and professional, gave quick response, have been honest and gave me good feedback. I had called at least 5 different places. Its not an easy process finding a lawyer that you trust and I am so happy that I chose them. I feel better even amidst all the stress of my custody situation. Thank you so much Sterling Law and Maureen Black. I appreciate you! Would highly recommend
Sterling Law was polite and professional from start to finish. Communication is key and all of my questions were answered. My attorney was compassionate about my case and knew what they were doing.

Everyone was helpful and understanding. Explained and understood the process well and what options were available. Was surprised I had to talk to a few other people before talking to an actual lawyer .
Ellen Rhodeman is the attorney you need protecting your interests. Along with her knowledge of family law, her objective situational analysis and mediation skills will be your ace in the hole. Ellen is a consummate professional; simply phenomenal from start to finish. She is a smart, savvy, and supportive attorney who truly cares about her clients. Ellen provided insightful, reasonable and fair advice, actively listened to what was most important to me, and moved to secure those imperatives as efficiently as possible. Ellen is always calm, considerate and thoughtful. Every question I asked was answered, she remained focused on the big picture. She understood every concern and hard stop I had, and remained firm on our position to preserve these essential requirements. At the same time, Ellen was fully prepared to present the case at trial if it became necessary. The staff at Sterling Law Offices are an exceptional asset too! Everyone was responsive, personable and empathetic.
I had a very positive experience. My lawyer was Tiffany. She was very understanding. She gave be very knowledgeable advice and guidance. I have an unusual case and she was able to help me through everything and made sure I knew what I needed to know. She also gave me great advice moving forward in my case and I feel 100% that we will be successful moving forward.
I have been working with Attorney Genelle Johnson since Oct. 2019; although my case has not yet concluded, I felt the need to write this review as of to date. I knew Genelle was an "Above and Beyond" attorney when I received a TEXT from her that read something like... This is my personal number. It will be much quicker for you to contact me via text than to go through the office. Feel free to contact me whenever the need arises...I was more than surprised to have an attorney share their personnel number; and in amazement when we actually started doing business through text! How easy! So quick! Immediate response! Even after hours, she was there for me. Genelle knows how to MAKE THINGS HAPPEN and GET THINGS DONE! These are dream words to someone going through a divorce. To add a little sugar to the pot... This gave me some darn nice bragging rights! You bet! I was the ONLY person in the whole group who had their attorney's personal #! THANK YOU, GENELLE!!!
Currently going thru a divorce after 33yrs. Attorney Tiffany has been very helpful. Explaining paper work, steps we are currently taking, calling when I send her a question, checking to see if I am safe. I feel very comfortable with her and feel she is definitely looking out for me and working hard to keep my case moving

Divorce is hard! That much is clear. Thanks to Tristan Eagon and the team at Sterling Lawyers, LLC helping me navigate the legal side of things, it was a lot easier to overcome these challenges with the support I needed. In the process, many support systems from friends and family, a counselor, and others helped me handle the personal challenges, so I focus on Tristan's support handling the legal matters. It was an honor to work with their team, they provided me the support I needed, and my future and my son's are a lot less scary now thanks to them.
I will not list attorney on this. Firm can look it up. Communication was awful. Weeks and weeks without hearing anything. In most cases, I was reaching out multiple times. Nice person but to passive to be a lawyer. Felt like being taken advantage of.... Procrastinating (both lawyers) to prolong process to make more money off me. I was already hurting financially. During initial hearing, attorney "forgot" to disclose my monthly fee to attorney to add to financial disclosure. With my fiannces, I was negative $350 each month but I was told that there would be some hard months. Basically to suck it up. I had to borrow money from family....AWFUL AWFUL situation to be in.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
