It the facts are as presented, the bank should be interested in your proposal. You need counsel to move the deal.

If you signed a loan contract with an employer and the fire you, would that be considered breaking the contract?

Michael N. Stafford

Provided that the contract is a valid contract for a loan the mere fact that they fired you would not in its self cancel the debt unless the contract provided for that contingency. However whether they would be successful if they sued you is another matter.

Can my bankruptcy affect my employment?

Bankruptcy lawyer at Love and Dillenbeck Law
There is no answer tot hat. Some companies will say no because you filed. The law, specifically 11 USC 525 says they can't do that. They will never tell you they didn't hire you because of bankruptcy. Ironically, they can decide not to hire you because of your creditor score.
