Is it legal for an attorney to assist a debtor with serial bankruptcy filings to avoid foreclosure?

It is customary for attorneys to NOT file UNTIL they have received all of the documents necessary from their client. HOWEVER, if the client comes to you on the "eve" of the foreclosure sale, you HAVE to file an emergency petition then in order to stop the foreclosure sale. Multiple filings, however, are NOT typical.

There's not enough information available for me to answer this question. Chapter 7, Chapter 13 or no filing at all may be necessary. Consult an attorney.
