I've used Hait & Eichelzer for many years close to 8 years now. They have handled all my legal issues with quick responses. I have recommended them to many of my friends who also have had great results. Their office is always busy so call ahead and make sure they are available. I would personally say if your honest with them they will tell you your chances straight up.

This lawyer did nothing but take my money and lose custody of my kids. Do not hire. She will not work your case and drop it over email. Retainers pay for her vacations and car! Do not listen to her recommendations.

Hired Law Firm

Let a simple child support modification go on for almost a year. Ran up a bill in access of $20k and at the same time the judge awarded her legal fees as well without a hearing. Now they want many thousands more to appeal the order. I gave them the info they needed to force an agreement very early in the process yet they failed to use it for 6 months.
In a case that has gone on for almost a year now I have only spoken to them less than a hand full of times and received very little advice.

This firm appears to be competent in divorce law, but in every other area of law, working with them was a nightmare. Their communication is awful, and this created extra billable hours and frustration because I had to chase them down and send multiple emails or calls anytime I wanted something done. I ultimately changed counsel because of these issues, only to have my case resolved promptly and fairly. The judge was very hostile to this firm, stating they were the reason the divorce dragged on.
