I've been a California attorney for almost 30 years. My practice consists of civil litigation and family law. The common approach is that I evaluate the facts and the law taking pragmatic and innovative approaches in an attempt to reach an early resolution. If there is stonewalling, I litigate. I strive to efficiently manage complicated cases. I have a virtually paperless office and use cost savings procedures such as electronic filing procedures offered by some courts.

Family law: I want help you to stabilize your life by looking past the immediate anger and frustration to reach your long-term goals so that you and your children will thrive. I like representing the one who is stable, plays by the rules and is dependable. I'll attempt to work with the other side to reach a fair, prompt and economical resolution. I aggressively handle cases involving abuse or financial chicanery.

I give personal attention to smaller cases and work with clients to manage their litigation budget. My goal is to provide legal services to others in the way that I would want to be represented.

Michael is by far the best family lawyer I have retained (of 3), the last was a 10/10 Avvo rated family lawyer with 45+ years experience, she was forgetful, mixing up critical case facts with another case, my son's custody case turned into a disaster. Michael is very professional and highly experienced in California custody laws. Michael is focused on getting the best possible outcome, not how much money he can make off you. I made the mistake of thinking I could defend against a civil case on my own. I fought the case on my own for 6 to 8 months. I say fought but in the end, I think I made the case worse. I wasted a lot of my time. I caused myself undue stress. Fortunately I was served with 4 motions to compel with sanctions that I simply could not figure out how to defend against. I had no choice but to hire an attorney. My search lead me to Mr. Michael Bush. I emailed him the details, he handled it. It was that simple. When I spoke with him my 8 months of stress started to fade away. Within a couple weeks a settlement was negotiated. Mr. Bush negotiated the settlement down to a little over 50% of what they were demanding. His fees were also much lower than I expected them to be. I wish I would have hired Mr. Bush from the beginning. Mr. Bush is a gifted, compassionate and down-to-earth attorney. If you are ever served, I suggest you give him a call.

Michael was readily available the moment I needed him. He kept his billing "tight" which was a blessing to me. He explained what was going on in laymens terms so that I could understand what was happening and what I was signing. He is prompt and detail oriented.
