Mr. Alexander Gray Hait (“Alex”) graduated from Georgia Tech in 1989 and went straight into Law School at New England School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts. Alex was admitted to the Georgia Bar in May of 1992 before he finished law school. In October of 1992, Alex was admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Following graduation, Alex practiced law for a year in New Jersey and New York with Horowitz & Horowitz. His initial exposure to law was Personal Injury and General Civil Litigation. Alex handled several jury trials right out of the gate.
In 1993, Alex returned to Atlanta and worked with Clark & Washington, PC. Although Alex continued litigating personal injury claims and settling cases, his area of expertise expanded to consumer bankruptcy. In 1997, Rogers & Cates PC approached Alex with an offer he could not refuse. They needed an attorney to run their personal injury department. Alex took the position, expanded the personal injury department by leaps and bounds and assisted Rogers & Cates in opening a new office in Woodstock, Georgia.
Alex continued expanding his knowledge of personal injury and consumer bankruptcy. Eventually, he took on learning the ropes of family law matters such as domestic violence, divorce, child custody and child support. In January of 2000, Alex parted ways with Rogers & Cates and hung out his own shingle. The Law Offices of Alexander Gray Hait started in the basement of his East Cobb home and it flourished immediately. Shortly thereafter, Alex opened an official office at 102 Springfield Center Drive in Woodstock, Georgia, but he and one paralegal outgrew the space quickly. The firm moved to 185 Stockwood Dr, Suite 100, Woodstock, Georgia and boasts 7,500 square feet of space. Alex added more attorneys and staff to meet the growing demands.
