Honestly, Barbara is the person that you want on your team when you are going through a divorce, and the last person that you want to see as your opposing counsel. Barbara knows family law better than the lawmakers who wrote the law. Barbara is a put bull when it comes to representing you. Her determined and knowledgeable approach will save you thousands over other attorneys who have to research the law on your dime. And, Barbara's outcome may be the differnece in hundreds of thousands in alimony, child support and equitable distribution. Hire her before the other side does!!
Based off a recommendation of someone who knew her work a decade earlier, I hired Barbara Barclay Moore because my ex- refused to help pay for college when NJ law says the non-custodial parent does have some responsibility to pay. She said the process should take about six months. I heard nothing after paying a $5,000 retainer. The check was sent right after Thanksgiving and cashed within days. Because of the holidays, I finally called after New Year's and was sent a case information statement to complete. It took six months just to finally get the first letter sent to my ex- saying that I had representation. The first draft looked like it was written by a middle school child. There were spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Yes, that should have been enough for me to switch, but I didn't know who else to use. Eighteen months and $1,500 later, 3 letters had been sent, and we were no where near done. There's more, but space is limited. I strongly advise against using her.
