I consulted with Atty. Deborah Higgins about a probate matter: I was worried that my late father's landlord might seize my inheritance to pay dad's back rent. She reassured me that, unless he had a court order, he couldn't. She carefully went over nuances like family exemption & explained that, other than rent I, myself, incurred, I owed my late father's creditors nothing (but the estate might). She's an honest attorney-could have-but didn't-try to squeeze me for deep litigation! I do RECOMMEND.

She was good at "dumbing down" the complicated legal stuff for me so that I could understand what was going on. Her staff was very friendly and helpful. I will continue to use her. If I need something from her that she does not cover, she refers me to a lawyer who specializes in what I need. Great job :o)
Very knowledgeable in my needed field. Easy to talk to. You can get her on the phone to discuss an issue right away as opposed to making an appointment & waiting. She will keep an appointment at her office on time.
Debbie Higgins is in the process of helping me J. gallucci in a lease case involving my house where I mistakenly signed an deceptive agreement. With no payment she came to my house, reviewed the papers and guided me with hard copy results. Making suggestions she provided me with a document to mail.
The office seemed to change office staff a bit but the lawyers remained consistent and informative.
She did not even show up at the courthouse the day we went to court. We were there on time and worried what had happened. Later when I called her she said she was just too busy that day and that she just didn't have the time to come with us. She told me that she knew that we could handle it without her. This was very upsetting since she had told us that she would be there and we depended on her. We had to explain in court that out attorney didn't show.
