I retained Michael A. Grace and his Partner Christopher R. Clifton in June of 2017 after being Indicted by a federal Grand Jury on false charges of Bank Fraud. Prior to hiring Mr. Grace and Mr. Clifton, my prior attorney had forced me into a plea deal. However, at the change of plea hearing, our evidence defeated the governments probable cause to the point that the government withheld all factual bases for the charges, and I was not adjudicated guilty of any crime. When Mr. Grace and Mr. Clifton took over, the assisted the Assistant U.S. Attorney in hiding my exculpatory evidence from the court that would have cleared me of the indictment. As a result, I was adjudicated guilty of charges neither brought before nor indicted by the grand jury in violation of the Fifth Amendment's Grand Jury Clause. I spend almost 5 years in prison because of Mr. Graces actions as my Attorney. The case is still pending on 2255 for Actual Innocence. I do not recommend Mr. Grace or his Partners.
