Cripps did not file paperwork properly. 
 Cripps did not use evidence to support filing 
 Cripps did not prepare for my trial 
Cripps lied about trying to get court dates in an appropriate time frame 
 Cripps did not even attempt to use my witnesses 
Cripps did not do anything to correct his mistakes 
Cripps took my money and failed to complete filings 
Cripps didn’t return calls made to address issues in filings. 
Cripps did quickly take my money 
 Cripps intentionally didn’t meet the state standards. Thus knowing the results before hand and lost my case filing . Im still waiting for a return call to address issues not resolved. I have called him repeatedly. Find someone who cares about your well being your children’s well being I dont even think he ever even asked me my kids names.

This lawyer wasted 2 years of my life in litigation, never listened to me. Lied to me and basically seemed to be doing just as he pleased. I always had to be chasing him down to get answers, he would give me half answer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASH LAWYER. I dont know what people rave about in these review but with my case even with all the evidence I had he did nothing to help me and my kids. This laywer is only out to get your money and leave you high and dry. DO NOT HIRE HIM!

To be completely honest, the worst mistake I ever made in my entire life was hiring Cripps to be my lawyer. He failed in every way possible as a lawyer. Words can’t even describe the ongoing chronic stress that this lawyer has caused for me and my family. I pray that no other person and their family will have to suffer like we did by hiring this lawyer. #corrupt

Steve seems to have a no care attitude. I have two children with disabilities and all he wanted to achieve for me was child support. Seventeen years of marriage and all he could tell me was I can't get blood out of a stone! His favorite saying.. Well ex husband now makes 50,000 a year and should have suggested alimony at the time for him to pay especially since I helped my ex get that job he has. Per Steve I signed the divorce papers. Wish I had picked a better attorney..

MINIMAL (if you could even call it that ) COMMUNICATION, NO RETURNED CALLS UNLESS STRONG DEMAND/REQUEST WAS RELAYED TO HIM THROUGH STAFF, NON-COMMITTAL ATTITUDE, NO "FIRE" WHAT-SO-EVER, MINIMAL RETURNED E-MAILS (and when they did occur contained bare bone/ two or three word "guttural" responses)...NEVER PROVIDING ME WITH COPIES OF ANYTHING UNLESS I KNEW TO ASK FOR THEM AND REMINDED HIS OFFICE OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO SEND TO ME, RUDE AND "SNIPPY" STAFF, NO INTEREST IN FIGHTING FOR ME AND MY KIDS IN ANY WAY, FORWARDED A CONFIDENTIAL "FOR HIS EYES ONLY" DOCUMENT DIRECTLY TO MY EX HUSBAND IN THE BODY OF AN EMAIL THAT CAME FROM ME WHICH CONTAINED MY PERSONAL PRIVATE NOTES AND IDEAS FOR COURT (client confidentiality right out the window with that one, kind of defeats the purpose when you show your hand before you play the round!!!) I can say that I'm glad I've never needed much legal assistance in my life, but having this experience truly taught me to be more diligent when reviewing and making a choice of legal representation in the future should I need it!! I truly don't know how he stays in business if this is his "approach" to being an attorney as it leaves a TON to be desired. Very sad that he continues his practice and takes money from hard working individuals who are in need of strong, competent legal assistance... shame on him...I will never be so blind EVER again!!!!

Mr. Cripps will tell you whatever you want to hear, UNTIL you pay him, then he will no longer communicate w/ you!!! THE WORST! During my divorce, he NEVER brought 1 piece of evidence to court, of child abuse from my husband toward my children. I sent him video, emails, pictures & SOLID proof of the abuse & neglect. He couldn't even cross-examine him on the stand because he never spoke to me & had no clue of the case. He just sat there in silence, as I was defenseless & my CHILDREN SUFFERED!

Worst attorney ever. no communication, never prepared, no negotiating, just sign the papers....I fired him and went to court on my own and did a much better job. Save your Money. DO NOT HIRE!
