I can't say enough about Joe Landy and his staff. I was in a car accident and was hit from behind. Thanks to Joe, I won my case. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was reachable whether it was during the week or weekends and gave excellent advise. He explained what was to be expected and was there every step of the way. Our beautiful daughter was in a fatal car crash in May of 2021, she had recently turned 18 and the accident she was involved in had a total of 4 vehicles, it became very clear very early that we would need representation, even before our daughter's funeral. I did not want an "ambulance chaser", we needed someone that would be by our side the entire way. I got to work looking through the Florida Bar list of Board Certified Lawyers and contacted Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith. Mr. Landy contacted me the very next day and that is where Mr. Landy took the wheel for us. He and his paralegal Jessica were compassionate, professional, prompt, and extremely thorough throughout the entire process. They communicated every step of the way. He won the case for us! Joe Landy represented my family in a personal injury case in the estate of my mother. Joe was very professional and explained everything in a manner that we could comprehend as to what to expect. We were well informed along the way so there were no surprises. Joe made us feel very confident but also was realistic in the events that could take place. I am a criminal defense attorney. As an attorney myself, it is hard not to try to handle my own case but each area of the law is a specialty and I am grateful that I was referred to Mr. Landy. He was incredibly kind and patient. Throughout my case he was an advocate on my behalf and ensured that I was taking care of myself. It is hard when you work long hours to remember the importance of self-care. Mr. Landy did his part to take time out of his schedule to remind me of appointments, check-in on where I was in my treatment, and provide with me with detailed updates. I never waited more than 24 hours for a return phone call. In my experience as an attorney, I have met my fair share of personal injury attorney who are in the business for all the wrong reasons. Mr. Landy is not one of those people. He truly seeks to help people and he wants the best for his clients. It is not about the numbers, it is about your health. Mr. Landy prioritized my health and recovered maximum policy limits.
