Working with Joe C. was a great pleasure. He helped with the closing of my first property (long time coming). The process is extensive as all home owners are aware, however Joe made it painless for me, took care of all the issues at hand, and explained to me in a clear/concise way items at hand. After being charged by the hour by another firm and receiving a huge unexpected bill at the end, this firm was a breath of fresh air! My employer recommended them. I was charged a flat fee and was told that if they need to go over, they will tell me up front. She rewrote the initial firm's trust in a lot of areas because she explained what it meant and we agreed that it was not saying what my husband and I thought it said! In the end, I was charged the initial fee we discussed and no more, even though she could've easily charged additional for fixing those areas. I wish I'd chosen this firm first.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
