Charlie Barrow is an accomplished litigator with extensive courtroom experience. He has handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases, successfully defending individuals accused of state and federal crimes. He has obtained not guilty verdicts in jury trials and has experience in appellate advocacy, representing convicted individuals before the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. He has also lectured on appellate issues at GPDSC Appellate Division training seminars. Beyond his criminal defense work, Charlie serves as a Solicitor in the Walton County Magistrate and Probate Courts, prosecuting local ordinance and traffic violations. In civil litigation, he has represented clients in personal injury claims, probate matters, and business disputes. He also serves as legal counsel for the City of Lexington, advising on municipal issues.
Charlie is admitted to practice in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia appellate courts, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. He graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia and earned his law degree from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. Active in the community, he chairs the Oconee Rivers Greenway Commission and is a past president of the Altamaha Riverkeeper.
