I echo other poor reviews about Woehrle Dahlberg Yao, PLLC. The quality of legal workmanship in my opinion is rather weak. Woehrle Dahlberg Yao, PLLC will also “nickel and dime” you on their billing process. I’d suggest to use another firm for your legal matters.
DO NOT GO TO CAROLYN DAHLBERG FOR A CONTESTED DIVORCE! She DOES NOT KNOW what she is doing. With only seven years with the VA State Bar, she does not have the acumen to contest your case. I talked to the partner of Woehle, Dahlberg, Jones, etc Marcel Jones who recommended me to Carolyn Dahlberg, and he states that it is a lesson learned and he will continue to learn from my case. She had her dad testify on my behalf, never agreed upon.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a DACA holder and I reached out to see if obtaining a green card was a possibility. I provided her all relevant documents, she initially assessed my case and said that I can get a green card. I went through providing SO many documents. her Assistant Sarah was the most unorganized and unresponsive person to work with. She had "lost" documents I had provided, NEVER responds on time..... I went through all this CHAOS and the forms have been submitted to USCIS. THEN, Adriana schedules a call and says they made a mistake, and incorrectly evaluated my case and that I do not quality to obtain green card and that the case will be DENIED. LOL I thought it was some kind of a joke...... After 3+ months of compiling documents, dealing with Sarah whose way of communication is a disaster.... I totally wasted my time and energy.
Have been trying to get in touch with him after he said he would schedule a court date for us and no response. Very un professional. Left hanging in the wind with no word or return call or email....
Lawyer Theseus D. Schulze of Woehrle Dahlberg Yao, PLLC - took advantage of me (child support/child custody, supposal support, and divoce) project with lack of integrity with me as a client. Theseus D. Schulze of Woehrle Dahlberg took on my project knowingly that project had jurisdiction in Maryland and Virgina - In which lawyer Theseus D. Schulze was not upfront stating he was NOT barred in Maryland ( he was only barred in Va) therefore causing significant impact on my project.. In addition - Theseus D. Schulze of Woehrle Dahlberg over charged me for services on two separate account - in which he lied and imploded about the “ time duration of service” he provided: 1. Overcharges for The duration of time on court day 2. Overcharges for The time spent on sending a email too my as client I will be reporting this too the “BBB” as well. I recommend IF you using Woehrle Dahlberg for service - do not accept service from lawyer Theseus D. Schulze!!
I received an invoice today to my Name, with a different address, that I can't seem to find, don' t appear to be real, on a trust account from a Brian C. that don't appear to exist, I mean - I got scammed for $10,000 from this attorney, I really wish I had the time and money to have this firm investigated for the fraudulent invoicing and overcharging and mis-charging. I highly recommend avoiding this lawfirm, specifically Mark Dahlberg and his team of scammers.
I was going through a divorce and hired Woehrle Dahlberg Jones Yao PLLC, specially Mr. Dahlberg to help me with my divorce. I thought it was great that the initial consult was FREE, cause they usually range from $150-$400 for a 1 hour consult. He did a great job selling me on the phone, but in the 2 months he was on my case, this was 1 of the 2 times we talked, the other time was for 37 minutes, however - I would end up paying over $6,000 in legal fees for actions I did not request or approve. He has 3 paralegals, some of which whom work from home cause of COVID, abuse their rights and will file motions on your behalf without you knowing, without consulting with the apposing consult, whatever they can do to run up your bill. They charge for every single email, text, phone call (answered or un-answered, seriously!!) $52.50 to file any document into their E file system, which they want to file EVERYTHING and after they file it will charge another $52.50 to organize it, (upkeep).

I hired one of their new lawyers, Amanda Lewis, and was told she would have the support of the experienced partners and mentors to assist her with her cases. This was a custody case. Amanda constantly entertained the opposing counsel interested in settling for visitation. However, she was made aware upon hire that the custodial parent has not been abiding by the current order since it's inception three years ago. Even though there is minimal visitation ordered. Also there is a lack of coparenting during this three yr time period along with a host of other serious factors that were shared with her. Nonetheless, she persisted in trying to convince us to settle. Clearly there was no plan or will to fight for custody. When we refused to settle, she dropped our case six months later after she was paid $3100k before the case went to court! She is incompetent in my opinion and should not be practicing independently. The firm is just as guilty as they support her decisions.
