I hired him for my FERS dib.I will say that he responds to calls & emails quickly & that's where it ends.He was quick to request the(very high)fee & w/ it came an app that is pre-worded."I" filled out the app & "I" made the appt. w/ my Dr. to have him fill out form.I also req. my medical records b/c it had been over a month & he still hadn't gotten them.It's now been a YEAR of no income & all I get now on status/decision is an "I've called them multiple times & I don't what else to do". Huh?!!!
Requested simple legal assistance for the collection of Back pay work completed for the US Government. The Payment is owed as a civilian employee.
I paid Mr. McGill $6,000 up front. He wrote a badly written application with many inaccuracies which I had to edit heavily, and took months to file it. A year later, case not even assigned yet. On 4 separate issues related to my claim he gave BAD ADVICE, to my detriment, so 6 months ago I stopped even contacting him, have done my own research & follow-up with OPM. I'm basically representing myself, but I'm out $6000. He's been sick, but that's no excuse for malpractice. He should retire.
